How You Will Contribute to Pulsara's Mission:

At Pulsara, we value the expertise and fresh perspectives that mid-career professionals bring. We’re looking for a Test Engineer eager to continue their professional growth and contribute to a platform that makes a real difference in healthcare.

As a Test Engineer, you’ll play an integral role in our product development team, ensuring the quality and reliability of Pulsara’s applications.

Your Primary Job Focus and Day-to-Day Activities Will Include:

Collaborating with our supportive development team to provide design feedback, test, and ship new features
Learning new features and becoming an expert in the product
Creating and executing test plans to maintain high-quality standards
Reporting product defects and verifying fixes
Communicating product feedback and helping refine requirements
Designing reusable test cases for manual testing or new automation coverage
Collaborating with other testers on team testing sessions, test scenarios, and test review
Championing our customers' needs by providing valuable insights and feedback

Your Skills and Experiences:

✅ At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
✅ Strong test planning and execution skills
✅ Ability to write clear, detailed defect reports with reproducible steps
✅ Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
✅ Experience with JIRA, Zephyr Squad, and G Suite (or equivalent tools)
✅ Basic familiarity with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and source control workflows
✅ Proficiency in browser debugging tools

Bonus Points For:

➕ Experience testing native iOS and Android apps

➕ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
➕ Experience with mobile app automation
➕ Web automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
➕ API testing using Postman
